Veteran actor Ravichandran, who was admitted at a private hospital in Chennai due to kidney ailment, passed away this evening. According to doctors, the 71 year old actor was in coma for the past few days and his condition worsened. He is survived by his wife Vimala and sons Balaji and Hamsavardhana. Ravichandran made his debut in 1964 with Sridhar's Kaadhalikka Neramillai, which was a runaway hit.
