Guess what's the latest trend in Kollywood films? To have a gay character or transgender. After Bala's Avan Ivan, Lawrence's Kanchana is all set to follow the rule now. Interestingly, Lawrence and Sarathkumar will appear as transgenders in Kanchana, produced by Sri Thenandal Films. In this film, Lawrence plays the role of a young guy who is scared of ghosts. Lakshmi Rai plays a top model who is his sister-in-law's sister. The film is all set to grace theatres this Friday in more than 250 screens.
